Racer, what is your story?

I'd be interested to hear it. What is your diagnosis and what meds have you responded well to?

I'm not sure what you want to know. Here's a capsule:

DX: Major Depressive Disorder, recurrent; Anorexia Nervosa, restricting type, recurrent; Anxiety Disorder, Not Otherwise Specified. Possibly ADHD, too, but that's arguable... (Personally, I think that if I meet the criteria for ADHD, the criteria needs to be made stricter.)

Meds tried:

Nortriptyline; Paxil; Prozac; Lexapro; Zoloft; desipramine; Wellbutrin; Lamictal; Cymbalta; Effexor; Strattera; Remeron; Adderall; Dexedrine; Provigil; Serzone; Ritalin/Concerta. I think that's it. Nortriptyline and Paxil were pretty effective; Effexor and Prozac were, too, for about a year; Wellbutrin is helpful, but not enough; Remeron was a nightmare; Serzone ditto; Adderall increased depression; Ritalin increased appetite.

I'm not sure what you're asking for, but that's a capsule of dx and meds.

And Jan? I saw this, and didn't have time right then to do anything about it. Sometimes it takes me a while to decide if I want to answer questions like this one. Give me a chance to make that decision and decide what -- if anything -- to say, OK?

Racer figured it was that as I don't know how much info I'd want to give either. Helps to understand the person better to me at least. I didn't realize you had tried so many meds. Can I apoligize? Love Jan to you
