It weird i just finished reading a post about consistent cranial pressure and worrying.
Now i am noticing my own problem that i dont know what to do.First let me say i understand this is not a medical board, and i should address these concerns to my doctor, but in the meantime i would like to hear if anyone might have had similiar problems or know of anything that might help.
Ok for the past few days, under my chest, right where your ab area starts, that upside down v spot,im noticing a wiggle, when i say that i mean like jumping,or a slight twithc,it doesent feel like my heart cause it feels below more, but its not far enough from my heart to rule it out.
Could it be due to stress,or what,i on self admittince have been using too many various meds due to the fact i had to wait so long for my doc appointment,so that will stop i already started being more complient.
Also another thing i can say is i recently started drinking water, and like everything i do,i do in excess,i went from not drinking any to drink quite a lot in the past week, could it be water retenion? Its happening as we speak, its not pain just something that has to be wrong, its not normal.
Please any suggestions.......

I think I know exactly the feeling in the specific location--it has come and gone over the years--I assume it is an involuntary muscle twitch (benign fasciculations) and is related to stress, caffeine, excessive exercise, fatigue, or other changes in neurochemistry--mine increase when I am higher doses of ssris--I tend to have them in arms, legs, etc--but they are particularly noticeable when they involve a large muscle group that is not directly skeletal. BTW, do not look up fasciculations and panic--they are almost always benigh and in the absence of muscle wasting are not something over which you should worry.

I do perform excessive amounts of sh*t ups, excessivly. Not that i have a point as my abs are still not devolped but thats a whole different story.
I also have indulged in excessive amounts of caffine latly, stress of course is high,as well as like i stated i have been irresponable with my drug intake.
I noticed i have very little bowel movment as well, thanks your post sounds a lot like me,ur posable reasons ALL hit on the money.
MY father said well christ ur doing situps all day,and i am,not cause im determined and a healthy person, but because like everything else i do i tend to form a compulsive ritual to it.
I am tackling the med issue, trying to be more strick and obedient, especialy now that i actualy have the meds im supposed to,i am going to fight the urge to constantly do situps, which i have, and which i know is counter productive, and stress well i have but so much control over that.I also have been taking anti-acids,and i truly feel its connected to my lack of bowel movment, when that seems normal then ill worry a bit more, but for now im connecting it to all of the above as possabilites, thank you i appreciate very much the response.
Upon reading btw the only thing i could find remotly reasoing to it was dystonia of the abomial and it doesent really sound like this.
Well see!

Willyee you don't like yourself to me. Where is your Father and Mother now? Are they home? Maybe the ER? What's this about bowel movements. Love Phillipa

A normal dose of milk of magnesia will clear out anything in your digestive system, if you're concerned that you're not pooping. - Bonnie

Exactly how much water are you drinking a day? There is a condition known as psychogenic polydypsia in which people drink excessively. However, you've noted that you are a bit obsessive in the excercise department so it is not out of the question that you have been drinking extra water to compensate.
The feeling in your chest could be heart-related, it could also simply be a spontaneous muscle spasm caused by excessive pushups. People do not normally need to do excessive repetitive motions in their abdominal regions to acheive a flat chest, I'm sure you're aware.
Do you have a blood pressure monitor at home, or sometimes a pharmacy such as CVS has one at their pharmacy counter and it also reads pulse?
If you are seriously concerned about heart arrythmias to the point where you actually physically feel consistently abnormal spikes and stoppages in your heartbeat, do seek medical attention. However, if you have an anxiety disorder, all the above can be mimiced in the same way. Nonetheless, if it gives you some peace of mind and your health plan provides for it, go get an EKG from your doctor if he or she feels its necessary.
