sleeping and depression

Posted by raider on June 21, 2006, at 16:09:22

I've been depressed lately, and the only way i feel to get away, is sleep but its horrible when i wake up, i feel there is nothing to wake up to.

I go to work, but on my days off i feel like i just dont want to do anything. Has anyone seen the commercical about Cymbalta "depression hurts"

There actaully is a website depressionhurts.com

Sleeping isnt helping at all with depression i need to get up and do something. But right now my car is well wrecked. That really gives me a punch,

is there any advice, i do take Prozac 20mg but, it just doesnt really help.

Maybe Wellbutrin.?

Well I'd get up and try to do something you enjoy. Can you work on your car? Love Phillipa

Raider,

I got a slow benefit from Wellbutrin, but can I suggest taking some DLPA. It's phenylalanine and it is an amino acid that occurs naturally in yor brain. You can get it at nutrition stores. Make sure you get DL not just L!

Here's a wiki link:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phenylalanine

It really works well, and fast, ESPECIALLY if you are depressed and fatigued. What I mean is, normal people don't feel much effect from it.
I noticed a turn within 24 hours, but that may be exceptional...?
