Don't you just love having

Posted by Maxime on June 26, 2006, at 23:23:52

suicidal urges all the time? Will they ever go away? When? How? Why do I have so much to deal with - deep depression, suicidal urges and anorexia.

I can't do it anymore.

Hi Maxime,
I know you've said before, but what medications are you on? I used to have major depression and suicidal urges before I took Nardil. My problem is not anorexia but just the opposite, I wish I could control my eating. I know phenelzine makes me eat like a pig, but it would probably act differently on you. Hang in there.
Wishing you Well,
Jedi

I dunno if they go away, sweetheart. I go back and forth between deciding that life just ain't worth living, and moments when I realize that I do want to live. I just don't want to live with the pain, the bottomless pit of despair, the shame, the misery, the general [deleted for civility] that is my life.

What I do know, though, is that there is a difference between being actively suicidal, and thinking about suicide, even having suicidal impulses. If you're experiencing suicidal impulses, I'm very sorry.

If you're actually considering it -- call me. At least have the comfort of talking to someone who can empathize with you.

Promise?

Racer I thought you were doing great? And Maxie the parnate's not helping. And I'm depressed too. Is it the weather or what or some nasty virus. J/k. Love Phillipa

I can relate to feeling so bad for so long and just thinking of ways to die. It has been so bad for me that, not having a reliable doctor, I checked myself into the hospital. Starts tomorrow. It's a real good hospital, so hopefully it won't be like some of the horror stories I've heard from other people here.

Its a horrable feeling generated by one nasty area of the brain. I'd like to burn that part of the brain out with a blowtorch.
