Thinking of adding it on for smoking cessation....I am developing chronic bronchitis as a consequence of my 10 yr habit.
I have heard it used with Parnate with no problems at all. Although officially contraindicated, can someone please help me here...
Thanks!
Ace

Why not cut down a little each day? That way no more meds. Love Phillipa

Ive used it with parnate, although no problems it seemed to really ruin anything parnate had,it was a very strange feeling.I did not know wellbutrin was the culprit to week and half later when i discontinued it.
Have u thought about LIQUID deprenyl, one drop per day or two.
I dident have any problems using that combo either, and the liq deprenyl parnate combo was a million times better than wellbutrin.
Again i make a clear distinction personaly as i have numerous friends who find the deprenyl TAB worthless......the liquid allows for very minimal dosing and it has been recomended for smoking cessation.
Im going through the same struggle,i work out and all,and i have STRONG urges to smoke a cigg constanly,it provides about a sec of pleasure and i feel horrid after.
I dont use the deprenyl anymore cause im really trying to narrow my drug use.

> AceHi Ace,
As you mentioned, they are officially contraindicated. That said, I have used Wellbutrin with Nardil with no problems. In fact, the Wellbutrin seemed to have less anxiety producing side effects when taken with Nardil than when taken alone. I have been up to 90mg Nardil and 300mg bupropion simultaneously. Bupropion has always caused some aggressiveness in me for the first few weeks. That side effect did pass. I have had PDOCs that told me the combination could kill me, but I researched it well before taking them together. No problem for me.
Take care,
Jedi
