I've just added 150 mg Wellbutrin to 150mg Effexor per day. Has anyone tried this combination? It seems I feel mre relaxed already

Good combo.If you feel anything positive, don't give up on it until you are at 300/300 or as tolerated.

Thanks Scott trouble is in NZ Wellbutrin isn't subsidised so is very expensive. It's also not marketed as an AD but a smoking cessation aid. Funny when it's about to go generic (and therefore cheap) in the US

side effects from Wellbutrin: sudden nausea, spurts of anxiety, some insomnia. I'm not complaining, but does anyone know if these wear off?

I take them both. I take wellbutrin to help with the reduced sex drive that effexor can have. It has been good so far.

I just started this combo last week. Same strength. I'm finally awake more in the evenings! I sure hope this works!
