Hi - Was just wondering if there was anyone living in Atlanta - esp' in the Emory University/Hospital area.
I'm from the UK, but there is a vague possibility that I may be considered for DBS at Emory - as I've been waiting for over 13 months here in the UK for a project that appears to be not happening.
Just wanted any advise you may be able to give re accomodation, areas to avoid living in(!) etc - basically I'm just in the stages of trying to get info' to see if it's going to be practical for me to do this.
Biggest problem is that there's a 9 month follow period during which I'd have to live in Atlanta - and it's kinda tricky from over here to work out where is ok and where is too expensive etc.
Anyways - any suggestions, thoughts, advice will be very welcome
#Thanks
Jon

Try a search for Atlanta and newcomers:

Local newspapers often have a free service where they e-mail you ads that meet your search critera
(like rental, price range, location).

One more thing to add, Atlanta has an excellent public transportation system:

is often uncommon.
