Good page, Scott. There's alot of interesting substances on the horizon. A couple of DA/NE/5-HT reuptake inhibitors and 5HT1A agonists and Organon seems to have a successor of Remeron in trial.

Hopefully I'm wrong :)The Triple Re-uptake inhibitors & Mirtazapine Matabolite sound more interesting.
Hopefully some NVK Antagonists will come out at some point.
I know some European Companies are working on interesting Compounds!
Any idea what happened to Seranductant?

>>>Organon seems to have a successor of Remeron in trial.
I'm really interested in that one too (ORG 4420). It would be nice if it had less sedation and appetite issues than Remeron(due to less histamine receptor blockade?).

Great site.
I am really hoping on the CRF(1) receptor antagonists.
http://www.biopsychiatry.com/crf1-antagonists.htm
This could actually be a good investment list ;-)

> Hopefully I'm wrong :)By themselves, perhaps not. However, they might make good augmentors - sort of like Buspar without the dopamine receptor blockade. Also, the metabolite (1-PP) of gepirone acts like Remeron in that it is a NE alpha-2 receptor antagonist. I don't care under what pretenses it becomes available. It would be one more tool to work with.

Hopefully, CRF(1) receptor antagonists will stop a crazed HPA-axis without too many side-effects.
This is the end of the thread.
