Omg...these med combos with no good results are making me crazy as a bessie bug...lol I think I've tried everything. Effexor with lamictal..lamictal with ritalin, focalin, adderall...and now lamictal and abilify...lawd ham mercy maybe I just need to check myself in at let them guinea pig me..I have bipolar/depression as well as ADD. Help!!

Hi Rina,
It looks like Lamictal is one of the meds in most of the combos you listed. Was it ever discontinued, then added later?
I was wondering what the effects of that one med might be, provided you can separate it from all the others.
Also, have you tried any of the other neurotransmitter enhancers, like Cymbalta, Celexa, Wellbutrin, Neurontin, Gebitril? They work on other neurotransmitters than serotonin.
I'm in the same boat, but I'm afraid to stop trying. I've even been through ECT without much success. I just have this feeling that if I give up now, I might miss out on a new combo that works.
