Hi all
I'm new to this site but would love some input from others going through this stuff. I have been on Neurontin for 8 years. started low but have been steady at 2400 daily most of the 8 years. Welbutrin 300 daily. as well. Doc put me on lamictal 75mg about 7 years ago with the intention of TAKING ME OFF NEURONTIN someday. Since then I have moved and have a new doctor. Because I am still depressed, anxious, have OCD, bipolar. He thinks they aren't working any more (if ever completely) He disagrees with all of the meds I take so we decided to slowly stop the neurontin. Drop 1 pill every 4 days it took about 8 says and my lamictal went up to 150mg.The first couple of days off "Neu" wasn't that bad. After I was off all of it, everything has gotten BAD. Depressed crying sick can not eat dizzy weak confused. Did I mention I started at 100 lbs and now I'm down to 88 lbs how gross is that. I was hospitalized for dehydration last week but still can eat I try but is hurts and makes me so sick. I guess after my life story here my main question is: Does anyone think this is still withdrawl from my the "Neu" or is it the lamictal. Of coarse my doctor is on vacation and if I see the on call doctor they will lock me up in some institution. I've been there, done that. I know I'm not suicidal and I know I just need my doctor to help me to level out my meds. Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
