does anyone else have the problem of having to take 2 or 3 times the normal dose of EVERYTHING jsut to get it to be effective?
first time i ever took painkillers i needed 60mg of oxycodone
first time i took a benzo i needed 4mg xanax
first time i took ADD stimulants that worked was 30mg dexedrine
i tell doctors this and they never believe me they just think i wanna get high and usually cut me off and try something else that doesnt work at all or is weaker iven...
its very frustrating...

Yeah I always had a high tolerance for benzos, sometimes needing between 4-8mg Klonopin along with sleeping tablets.

3mgs xanax-day does nothing for me-what do people rave about it for?
I guess longer term benzo treatment plays a part, but 40mgs Diazepam will only dampem me moood-nothing moreno sedation nothing.
I require many times the regular doses of Ritalin to function almost like a regular person does, but some Docs have an issue with this.
We are all different i guess?
cheers

> cheersyea i just find it irritating because im only 27 and i know a ton about drugs... usually more than the doc does... and they automaticly classify me an addict which i am not... but yea i was taking 3 or 4 xanax bars and not feeling a thing from it and also i would take 8 to 10mg of dilaudid at a time... at work and drive and was fine... the doctor told me that he thought i needed to go to rehab when i told him how much i had to take for it to work. i just recently started seeing a pdoc this year and so faar have gotten some run around but i think i finally convinced him im not an addict cuz he has me on wellbutrin and dexedrine... i cant get any more dilaudid or benzos tho =(

I do. I think I metabolize quickly, or maybe ineffectively, so I need more than average. It doesn't make it easy for a fairly small woman to get rx'd max doses of controlled drugs.

I wonder what you needed the Dilaudid for?
