If I take a regular benzo, I wake up feeling groggy, unrefreshed and bla.
I have noticed however, that if I take zopiclone, I wake up feeling good. I actually feel in remission till about noon.
Has anyone else noticed transient mood improvement following zopiclone ?

Yes, I know what you mean..my pdoc told me that a small dose of it can be used during the day,on occasion, for relief from anxiety..so that could be what you are experiencing..

You may be right. It just seemed different from other anxiolytics. I didn't have that horrible blah feeling like with say klonazepam.

Maybe until you figure out something better you could cycle it. Like maybe use it for sleep and and a little bit a noon for a few days, take a day or two off and use one of the other natural herbs you are familiar with, and then back to the zopiclone? Cycling might keep the effects ongoing without it being a transient tease.

Well that is very interesting as asked my pdoc about using lunesta small piece during the day she said it doesn't work for anxiety. So stopped using it at night too expensive. If the benzos are no longer relieving anxiety without tiredness do you feel the lunesta might work? I do have two more refills of it. Phillipa
