I have been on Lyrica for almost a month for anxiety and depression.I have slowly increased the dose to 400mg.At the beginning of taking Lyrica it was stimulating and calmed me a little. At 400mg I feel more depressed and anxious.Plus,I have a few other side effects.
I have read that people get better results at 600mg,and this is the dose I want to get too.I am wondering how fast I should increase this med.Or,how long should I stay at this dose to see if it might work for me 400mg.IT has been four days since I increased to 400mg,and all I feel is tired and anxious, and trouble finding words, names ect.
I would appreciate any advise..
Thanks....Stann

I was under the impression that very low doses of lyrica even in the 25mg range were good for anxiety and then at like 600mg it became stimulating. now this is based on what others have said. Phillipa

Thanks for your input :I think some people do get results on a low dose of Lyrica, but most people need the higher doses for better results.
This is my understanding from what I have read.Stann..
