Are there any significant psychoactive
effects of Seroquel at 100 milligrams

Absoulutely there will be psychoactive effects at this dose.

At 100 mg, Seroquel has deep anxiolitic and sedative properties. It has also a mild antipressant effect. In "general", its neuroleptic effect will kick in only at 300 mg and above.

> that dosage????There is, I believe, significant pychoactive effects, at ANY dose.
Whether or not, these effects are enough to help one's illness, is dependent on the severity/nature of the illness....
Also, sometimes lower doses can work better than higher doses!

I take 100mgs of seroquel and yeh there are definitely psychoactive effects. It's a great sleep agent, and has anti depressant effects. My pdoc just told me a 300mg XR has been or is being approved as an antidepressant. I think, but hope this won't be true for me, it can make you gain weight.
