We may have figured this out already but I thought I'd ask again just in case.
I know that the regular pill form of selegiline is selective for MAO-B up to 20mg, so it doesn't deanimate MAO-A (and therefore serotonin) if kept under that dose.
Is there an equivalent "cut-off" point in the patch form to keep EMSAM selective for MAO-B, even if you had to cut the lowest dose patch size into quarters or smaller?
I'm just trying to figure out the dose comparison between oral selegiline and the patch.
I was reading that low doses of selegiline have been combined with Celexa with no adverse reaction, so I was wondering if the same effect could be said of combining an SSRI with EMSAM (however small the patch size had to be).
I'm very aware of the risk of serotonin syndrome and this is not something I intend to try, it's just something I've been curious about and many of the posters here know a lot about chemistry.
I apologize if this has been answered already. I remember talking to Donna Louise and a few others but that was a while ago.

I think I remember that you take, or used to take, Luvox? Well Luvox CR just got final approval a few days ago.

Kristopher you are so correct I do take low doses of luvox I'd heard it was going long acting from my pdoc but didn't know when. Thanks. And you can't find your answer? Can you google it
