Hi Garnet, what an awesome site!! I think anyone here would find it useful and interesting.
**I would like to add that subsequent to this article, the NIMH StarD study came out. MAOI's didn't fare any better than any other A/D at the time, but they later came back and reported that doses were well below what what many PDocs are now safely using and that in more recent studies, MAOI's, when properly dosed, are significantly effective for MDD in particular. Not sure about dosing for other meds.Anyway, excellent article I thought!

something like 40% dropout too, i think? and 1/3 had less than 4 weeks on the med. really terrible study. yeah you might have to suck it up and have some hypotension for a few weeks.
