I'm sure that I will be taking seroquel to help with sleep while starting on Nardil. After reading all of the health risk of Seroquel, do you think those risk (diabetes, etc.)are at high dosages for an extended period of time or do you think that my low dosages are just as risky? Am hoping that by watching my diet really carefully and staying at low dosage, I wont' have a problem with seroquels long term effects.
I'll only be taking 50mgs at night for bed along with 1.0 of xanax for sleep. I was thinking that I might also take either the xanax or seroquel during the day while starting up on the Nardil for any anxieties.
Am hoping to be able to stop taking any benzo or seroquel when Nardil kicks in. Has anyone found any other good sleep meds without awful side effects to take while on maoi, or should I just stick with the seroquel? (don't like ambien and from what I've read about Lunesta, that one doesn't sound real promising either and trazadone makes me ill) As long as I take it with a xanax at night, it seems to help with the RLS that occurs when taking seroquel.
Thanks,
Courtney

Nevermind.
Just saw above post by ParnateStarted asking basically the same question that I asked.
Pretty much answered my question.
Thanks anyway!
