Does anyone know if tianeptine will ever be released in the UK, and if so, when?

Couldn't find any information on when it'll be licenced, but you can legally order it online from abroad.

this is a stupid sh*tty situation in the uk and us. this medicine is absent from the pharmocopeia of these nations, and its neglect by anglo american psychiatry is horrendous.

hopefully with the launch of agomelatine, the gmc will see sense and look for a replacement for the vivactil in tianptine.

But isn't this down to the drug company's failure to market it and get it licenced rather than psychiatry's failure to embrace it?
