I am on only my 2nd dose of Depakote 125mg (very low, I am a slow metabolizer).
I notice the Depakote makes me hot and causes a some joint pain. It didn't give me the night sweats that Trileptal & Tegretol did.
I am wondering if I am wasting my time with these meds.
I have taken Klonopin for GAD and do fine with it.
I am wondering if I can't just take Klonopin in the AM and PM for a mood stabilizer and Wellbutrin for an AD.
I might die of heat exhaustion when I go up on my dose of Depakote.

I'd discuss it with your doc first. Might work? Phillipa

Relying on a benzodiazapine for mood stabilization is a bad idea, especially Klonopin.
