To make a long story short, mifepristone seems only to produce improvements in the psychotic counterpart of psychotic depression. The depression tends to remain afterwards.
I tried mifepristone for (bipolar) depression using the 8 day protocol. It did nothing for depression, but it left me feeling washed-out by the end of the trial.
