Anyone with experience with both (or with dexedrine)?
Just wondering mainly about:
1. duration of each
(not what the literature says, but rather what people's experiences are in reality)and
2. relative strengths
(i.e. X mg of Vyvanse approximates Y mg of Adderall)Thanks,
michael

Vyvanse lasts about 10-12 hours whereas Aderall lasts about 6-8 hours.
10 mg Adderall equals about 20 mg Vyvanse.
Vyvanse is a lot smoother

Dexedrine is more faster when it is taken, Vyvanse is the longer form of dextroamphetamine. I've been on most of the stimulants expect Desoxyn.

A couple quick follow-ups:
1. Are you saying that 10 mg Adderall XR is approximately equivalent to 20 mg Vyvanse?
2. How long does it take for the Vyvanse to "kick in" - or how long until it starts making a difference? (for example, regular Adderall (not the XR version) seems to start working maybe 15 - 20 minutes after ingesting it...)
Thanks to all for the feedback.
