Probably good to keep it in mind that they can.
A little off topic but for vitamins/supplements you might buy on Amazon there's a great site called Fakespot: https://www.fakespot.com/
It will analyse the comments and give you a grade on how accurate the reviews are w/ explanation.
Maybe one day it'll work for sites like drugs.com etc. In my experience Askapatient.com tends to skew much more to the "bad drug" side than drugs.com which seems to have a lot of glowing reviews.

Just copy/past an Amazon link in the box on fakespot before you buy something.
So say you were interested in trying NAC but you didn't know which brand to get. One has a 5 rating with 1000 reviews but are they paid for/fake? Copy/paste the link and fakespot will give you feedback on it (letter grade on reliability). If it hasn't been checked in a while you can have it recheck it and it'll show you how it compares comments, looks for repetitive words, checksbthr accounts posting, etc and then gives you a recommendation.

Thats cool. I will start my light therapy tomorrow and i checked the amazon reviews of the product. Its called luminette. They are credible.
