Thanks for your post. A smiley can make it more clear that humor's what you're reaching for. Especially when things are tense here like right now. :-)

I don't know of any offhand but I'm sure the Babble crowd can pitch in with links. Just an idea. It has indeed become a bit tense as of late.

You've pointed out their usefulness to one poster; maybe a hint worth dropping again every now & then, particularly on the main board?

I got a mate to set a page of emoticons!!!! OK, so I think he's got slightly over excited with some of them, but they do contain your normal ones too!
