I am using Windows (98 at work and ME at home) and Explorer. My question is this. When I want to include a link in a post, how do I get it to be a "real" link? (I don't even know the mumbo-jumbo of what to call this -- I want it to show up in blue so you can hit it and get the web page to open.)

akc,
As long as you include the http:// at the beginning of the link it should show up as a clickable link. As a rule of thumb, it is always best to cut and paste the link in it's entirety to the location that you want it. Does that help?

Greg,
That seems to have done the trick. Now somebody skimming the board will wonder why I put ESPN as a link. It is great therapy for me, but I am sure most people would just find it boring.
Thanks for the advice.
