Dr. Bob,
Thanks for your site; I love it. Dr. Burns talks about "bibliotherapy" in his book about depression, and I agree with his assumption that reading a book about depression and learning is a sort of therapy in and of itself. I think of "Psychobabble" in the same way, except I think it can be more therapeutic, because it is interactive.Anyway, to get to the point:
I think you would agree that depression involves psychology, psychiatry, biology, and neurology. Instead of having two different bulletin boards, why not just have one? There's got to be a way to use colors or something to indicate whether a post concerns mainly medications, social concerns or whatever. The problem in Psychobabble is that some great posting threads are stopped in their tracks because they get too social. So what if they do? Anyone can do a search when they need to find out about a certain medication or whatever. We are only human, and for our concerns to be categorized by DRUGS/NON DRUG ISSUES, I think hinders some objective discussion.
I personally have a habit of just posting and looking at one board. I'm sure there are many others just like me.
Thanks,
Tim
