I re-registered so I could check "NO" to psycho-babble e-mail. I do not want anymore notifications on threads at this time. Please discontinue these notifications.

Didn't you say you re-registered? The system doesn't recognize your new registration as the person it's sending notifications to.

In order to change it, you have to change it as who you were when you checked that box the first time.

Next time you get a notification, click the link to turn it off. I believe it's on every e-mail, and it's easy to do.
