I haven't had a chance to read all of admin yet, but I skimmed Dr. Bob's posts.
And it now occurs to me that what I thought were the unintended results of this rule are actually the intended results of this rule, per Dr. Bob.
I find myself extremely perturbed.
My family will be thankful of course. Dr. Bob is making it easier and easier for me to emotionally divorce Babble, although not of course the many Babblers I've grown to care about.
And Dr. Bob may wish to consider that he just gave a block for behavior he used to think was just fine under the guidelines of the board. It took a guest expert for him to finally understand what we had been saying. But if we had been silenced, the guest would never had had a chance to weigh in on the matter.
If anyone wishes to Babblemail or email me about what I detect underlying Dr. Bob's posts, feel free to do so. I don't see any way to be more explicit on the board itself.

I slept on it and decided that it's nothing I care enough about to worry about.

I never say anything behind your back that I wouldn't say to your face. I emailed you what I thought back when I thought it was inadvertant.

Thanks, did I reply?
