I know, I've asked before. I figured, though, that since there were no explosions happening right now, there was a chance it could happen.
Captain Picard, make it so.

I guess I want too much! Current Affairs Board, Parenting Board, I have voted yes on Eating Disorders Board before. When I asked, Dr Bob said to me there is only one way to find out about the amount of practicable boards there can be. I still don't know what way that is.

I think what Dr Bob is trying to say is that the only way to find out how many boards we can have is to put one up and see if it sustains itself. Over the years, there have been a couple of boards that fizzled out, so there is precedent.
I hope this helps. I can see how it might sound as if Dr Bob were being deliberately obtuse, but I don't think he meant it that way. It sounded to me as if he were being a bit cheery and rushed, not trying to confuse.
(Dr Bob, I'm counting on you to confirm or deny your intentions...)

You say that Dr Bob is saying that the only way to find out how many boards we can have is to put one up and see if it sustains itself, then why all the hesitation in putting it up in the first place? It felt to me that I was encountering resistance rather than "let's give it a try". I mentioned before, that if the board/s fizzle out, then at least we tried and no harm done.
Realising of course, that Dr Bob busy and his time may have been wasted?

I've used the script that "jump started" these boards, and I don't blame Dr Bob for putting off setting up another board. Truly, it's not so much "wasting time" as just such a pain in the last-end-over-the-fence to put it all together. Lots of niggly details, and then testing it to make sure it's not screwy somewhere.
On this one, let's trust Dr Bob to get to it as soon as he can. He did say that he would get to it when he could, so let's just remind him now and again until it happens.

Ok, again, I'll sit back now and see.
I see, in any event, that eating board is there, one I will make use of.
