I guess there are several possibilities.
1) I COULD have posted, then conspired with someone to....um...cheer you up?
2) I could have been angry and hurt in my first post. Then later, calmed down and posted to you again?
3) I could have DID.
4) I could be a moody wench.
5) I could be conspiring with Dr Bob to infiltrate the web and all brains attached to it.
6) I could have had PMS, then took a pill.
7) I could have been..um...too bored to go on.
You get the drift. The possibilities are endless. See #2 and #4 for the truth. Sure wished you had ASKED me instead of accusing of me of conspiring with lord knows who to do who knows what.

I phrased that badly, and not as I intended. I should have said behavior of, not incivility from. I've been known to make desperate calls to my therapist over posts that weren't uncivil.
So I guess I'm sort of trying to say what Sunny said.
When I was in school, getting less than an A would send me careening into depression. But there was nothing wrong with teachers giving grades less than an A. My reactions were my own.
Am I getting it right, Sunny?

And, for what it's worth, I don't think it really matters to me what Dr Bob's intentions are here -- what matters to me is that there are a lot of people here who have offered me support, information, and even friendship over the years. The benefits I receive from the people on this site far outweigh any potential harm that any one person could do.
And you know how I can avoid getting quite so upset so easily here? I avoid certain posts, and certain posters... If I know that someone's comments have upset me in the past, I judge whether or not I want to read a new comment.
Heheheh... I guess I choose to be a part of this community, and I choose my level of engagement according to my needs and abilities at the time.
I'm too depressed right now to want to admit that that sounds healthy to me. Sux...

My son and his friends use it all the time. Invariably causing a mass collapse into giggles.
I guess he didn't like my euphemism for it. That one makes my husband collapse in giggles.
I agree with All Done, with the added suggestion that someone probably isn't trying to get around the asterisking if they have no idea the word they are spelling needs to be asterisked.

You are quite right. I had no idea it was a no-no. Shoot, if I had been trying to bypass the asterisk system to get in a vulgar word, I'd have picked a doozy.
I'm laughing so hard my stomach hurts. Certainly not the reaction I expected for my losing my PBC virginity.
