It occurs to me...

If Dr. Bob blocks or PBC's a person on one board. And then there's a post that probably would receive a PBC or block otherwise on a different board. Well, the person who may be feeling a bit hurt by the post and waiting for administrative relief might never know the reason why Dr. Bob didn't act on their thread. And might be hurt by his inaction.

So in those cases, mightn't it be nice for Dr. Bob to acknowledge that the poster on the second board might be feeling hurt, and let them know about the admin action taken? Or acknowledge that the post would have been PBC'd but for the prior admin action?

It could be a canned response so that Dr. Bob wouldn't be put to too much extra trouble.

But I remember times where several people, either on their own behalf or on the behalf of others, have been upset at a lack of response on Dr. Bob's part. And that could easily be fixed.

He has done this at times. At least, I can think of one time he has done it.

It would be good if posters could do this too.
