mine was sent to me through my blog- not through regular email or babble mail but it directly stated this board.
I passed it on to Dr. Bob just in case other's got similar things.

That you haven't recently released your email address on board. Or linked to a personal site.
It might be wisest to exchange email addresses and links by Babblemail for a while.
But that may be taking the entire thing more seriously than it deserves. It's always safer not to release personal email addresses or other personal information on the internet, that's why people create Yahoo or hotmail ones. It probably isn't wise to respond to questionable emails, but that's probably always true.
It was nice of Dr. Bob to create Babblemail to route private messages through his server. As far as I can see, that's a much safer means of communication.
I know I'm not telling you anything you don't know, Mel. It's more of a general reminder.

I agree with you Dinah, I've often wondered why people post E-mail addresses on the boards. Too many lurkers! Doesn't feel safe to me. I always give out mine via Babblemail. Thanks Dr. Bob for that option. Fondly, Phillipa
