Can I suggest that threads discussing pharmaceutical- or psychiatry-related
(a) lawsuits
(b) public policy
(c) general payment/insurance issues
be redirected to the Politics board instead of the Social board?I see you've redirected some threads to Politics when they specifically mention something like "the current administration" (e.g., http://www.dr-bob.org/babble/admin/20050530/msgs/512421.html), but most still seem to go to Social.
Social was the best place for those discussions before you added Politics. But nearly all insurance, lawsuit, legislation, and public policy questions now seem more appropriate for Politics. AND the Politics board moves more slowly than Social, so redirecting a few more threads there can help even things out a bit.
Perhaps the board could even be slightly redefined from "It focuses on politics" to "It focuses on politics and public policy"? Might stimulate some focused discussions.
As examples I'd give these redirected threads:
