I feel very silly for asking this. But, I am always reading about PBCs and am under the impression this is different than a block. I checked under the faq and read the civility rules but didn't find out exactly what it was. Thank you for your time and patience.

PBC = Please Be Civil
A warning from Dr. Bob or a deputy that your post (or part of it, which they will highlight) has violated the civility rules, such as accusing someone, jumping to conclusions, etc. It's a warning that should help that poster to not subsequently get blocked (at least not on that thread/for that reason) if they heed the civility warning.
Does that help? And you are NOT asking silly questions! :-)
