I hate to be a pain, but what is the workshop

in toronto? Maybe, if it's not too much trouble someone could just take me through from the beginning.

I understand that Dr. Bob will be speaking, but what the other babblers will be doing I'm still not sure.

Hi Maddie,

Dr. Bob is presenting a workshop on Internet Support Groups at the American Psychiatric Association (APA) conference in Toronto on May 22.

As part of the workshop, some babble posters are going to meet in small groups with conference attendees to talk about our experiences.

How this all came about was a bunch of us met in Chicago in June 2005 (Babble Birthday Party 05.) We decided to try to meet again in 2006. Dr. Bob suggested Toronto during the APA conference and when the APA accepted his workshop proposal, having babblers present at it was added to Babble Birthday Party 06.

Some posters are coming to Toronto just to hang out together May 19-22 and won't be part of the workshop.

If you want to come, Dr. Bob has set up a special email group that he can add you to. Email him that you are coming.

I was in Chicago and it was fun to meet other babblers. Even with social anxiety I survived it and when Toronto came up I wanted to be part of it.
