Is the black background changeable? I nearly always get a migraine when I babblechat for very long, and all black background websites tend to give me a migraine as well, so I'm sure that's it.

That's at least a couple votes for change. Then the text colors would probably need to be changed, too?

I don't know. Anything that would show up on the background chosen should be fine.

Waaay better! And since you can change font colors, boredom is alleviated for us ADD-types who *must* - with some frequency - have variety! ;-)
Thanks, Dr. Bob.

Spooky chat! :-)
Who wants calming vanilla cream? LOL
Let's enter a dark, and foreboding chat. We should call it the crypt. LOL
No, seriously, I liked the black better. :-) I'm okay with the calming vanilla cream though, boring as it may be, if others like it. Can you change the font colours? Some of the font colours don't show up nicely on the vanilla cream background.

Hmm, well, it doesn't seem to have been a timeout. Let me know again next time? Thanks for your help with this,
Bob

Shouldn't a poster get automaticly booted out if they have been sitting idle for hours? It feels weird to be in chat with someone who isn't posting, ever.

So it wasn't you?
We were a bit bewildered since usually it "times out" people who are inactive.

are you checking whether lurking will boot a person out or not?

Is it possible to use Babblechat with external IRC clients?

Hey Flilp Flop. A request... Feel free to ignore I guess... But I'd just like to say...
It feels rather odd to see one person in Babblechat fairly constantly... But not really chatting in Babblechat. You go in because you see someone is logged in and then you discover that the person isn't there chatting at all. Just logged in. I've started ignoring the one person in chat indicator because I figure it is you and you are fairly much always logged in and I've never seen you chatting at all. Your being logged in all the time also means that fragments of previous conversations stay up after the posters who were participating in the discussion have left.
So I guess I have a request... Please could you log out of chat if you aren't chatting?
It is of course a free Babble chat place and so you can do whatever you want... I just wanted to say that I personally found it a little odd... Or disconcerting... Or something...
I guess you are on a all you can use internet package but just in case you aren't... You will probably save a little money too...
Or maybe... You are sitting in front of your computer enjoying reading what people take to be conversations between certain posters. I mean sure I know people know new parties can join at any point... But still... The notion of a chat lurker who doesn't participate particularly is a little disconcerting for me...
Bob? Can flip flop be timed out like other posters seem to be if they have a period of inactivity.Nothing personal Flip flop, I'd love to chat to you. Well... i'd love to chat with you. I've been chatting at you a fair bit. lol.
