And another site I've visited doesn't have a standard pic, but she will post holiday pics and stuff like that occasionally.

He does have his picture with his profile, and it shows up next to his posts. But many other PCers also do that, so it's a posting convention option there versus a symbol of the site.

> or maybe an advert for something or other ;-)as far as i know, doc john has never indicated that the hiker is him. it's an attractive photograph that tops the page. and it never, ever changes.........he doesn't change his portrait that shows up when he posts. it's always the same.
i don't know any randomly mentally ill people at PC.........and what would advert be for? hiking boots or beautiful scenery? :-)
