Naming Posting Name After Drug

Posted by elbee on December 3, 2007, at 13:44:19

Hi, I haven't posted for sometime but I read this site religiously and feel pretty connected to this community. Something has come up that I wanted to discuss.

I guess there has to be a balance between individual freedom and people's needs...but I have run into a problem when someone's posting name is the specific name of a drug. When I do a google search looking for info. about that drug many of the entries are just referencing that poster's posts and, of course, aren't necessarily related to that drug. This really affects the usefulness of the search for me and my ability to get the info. I need. Is this a concern for anyone else--now or if this problem were to occur with other drugs in the future?

Hmm, that's a good point. Maybe that should be another restriction on posting names?

Sounds good to me! If no one has any objections I'm all for making this a restriction on posting names. Anyone else?

Do you first click the right side of the search button to bring you to the outside world internet as the left side is posters posts the archieves. I know who you mean and will check it out too. Phillipa ps I know a lot of posts of mine end up out on the internet.

Thanks Phillipa,

I usually click on the left side because I'm looking for information on my drug within Dr. Bob's site.

That's good to know that you can use either search function.
