Hi guys.
It seems to me that the Administration board is a magnet for acting out dramas. Why is there so much drama in a forum that is supposed to be dedicated to discussing the administration of the other forums? I find some of the behavior here to be juvenile and counterproductive. And just what is the necessity for all of this profanity?
I think Dr. Bob allows this forum to have artistic license in order to afford people a place to vent and redirect their anger toward the site's founder and benefactor. Perhaps there is something therapeutic about all of this. It seems like a good way to displace anger that might be better directed towards one's parents. It would have been pretty cool to curse at your parents in this way while growing up, right?
Any comments other than to have me shut-up?

Please, please, please DO NOT shut up. There are too many juvenile people here acting out inappropriately, and this whole website suffers from their uncontrolled outbursts.

*sigh, perhaps not acceptable, but only way at times that a part of me seems to be able to feel it is successfully communicating.Generally I am quite clean mouthed. But sometimes I am not, sorry. I am responsible for all who I am, I know that. I do not hit people, and I don't attack other babblers. Yes i DO go after Bob from time to time, but he seems to handle himself well with me.

I have the utmost respect for you.

*I am so sorry that you have much anger and that perhaps I have triggered you ILTS.
Yes I have had outbursts, have been pbc'd , been blocked etc.
I agree that I act innappropriately and i am working on trying to coordinate all who I am, and to have everything working together in a better way.
I am sorry if I affect you negatively, I mean no harm to anyone.
I am sorry, I honestly am.

And to you too. I respect you very much, especially with the courage you show by disclosing to everyone that you recognize the things about yourself you wish to change, and the resources you employ to help you to accomplish this.
By the way, if you don't mind my asking what was your motivation to name yourself "muffled"? (I won't mind if you would rather keep this private).
Be well - in every way that you wish to be.

love to swim,
You wrote,[...too many...uncontrolled...whole...].
Could you clarify as to how many is {too} many? If so, could you post here an authority that you could use to make that determination as to what number you used is {too} many? If you could, then I could have the opportunity to respond accordingly.
Could you also clarify what you are wanting to mean by {uncontrolled}? If you could, then I could have a better understanding of what you are wanting to mean by that and respond accordingly.
Also, could you clarify what you are wanting to mean here by the {whole} website? If you could, then I could have a better understsnding of what you may be wanting to mean by the {whole} in regards to your writing {suffers}.

I have issued an official request please to be civil to you on another thread, and therefore am only posting a reminder to you that the guidelines for this site specify that no one is to post anything which could lead others to feel accused or put down. This is simply a reminder, and I hope that you will choose to abide by the rules as they are stated.
Thank you.

It would be really swell if people would not call others here juvenile for expressing their feelings. Feelings are REALLY important.
Invalidating a person's feelings is like saying that as people they don't count. It's something kids hear a lot. It's something that trauma survivors experienced a LOT.

If we could act appropriately we wouldn't NEED this website.
Duck. I'm feeling an outburst coming on.

> Abbie* Juvenile,ya, kinda sucked, you are right abbie, but its OK, we all got our stuff and we all gonna have our moments. Maybe they were not expressed in the best way possible, but the feelings were expressed maybe in the way the person knew how, just like my Toughie and its swears. We need to learn to try and be as kind as we are able to be when we can.....cuz its not always possible!!!! LOL!!! I have my moments,,,ack!
There was a discussion some time ago, bout using Bob as the 'fall guy' here on babble. I think as long as we not terribly uncivil, he don't really mind. If it keeps the peace in general, I expect he don't really mind.
As for love to swim, I hope we have not scared her/him away, as babble is a place that is pretty darn accepting, at least that is what I have found. I think this poster can find a place here.
Take care

Abbie, speaking of ducks......can you just let the emotions roll off you...like water off a ducks back?(sorry had to pun...?!if its a pun?or mebbe bad joking??)
This will pass.
We have our emotions, and they kinda freaky....but they pass.
Take some deep breaths, try and distract by doing something you enjoy.
Your a good person. This can be a good excercise in letting those emotions slide away.
Good luck.

> It would be really swell if people would not call others here juvenile for expressing their feelings.
It is not the feelings that I have a problem with. Those are issues to be attended to by the individual. It is the behavior that I have a problem with. I called no one here juvenile. I called no one's feelings here juvenile. It is what people do to each other that is most visible.
> Feelings are REALLY important.
So is civility. How much incivility are we to accept as being appropriate to be posted?
I think that using certain profanities, with or without asterisks - especially when directed towards an individual - is inappropriate and should be commented on. Uh, oh. My claiming that someone's actions are inappropriate is itself inappropriate because I can certainly be inferring that the person is inappropriate. How far are we to reach? Who are we to judge anyone else's behavior. We must find murder to be appropriate because to say anything else would be inappropriate and deserving of a moderator's sanction. This should be particulary true if the murderer's past was one of verbal abuse by a juvenile school janitor. The janitor was legitimately juvenile as he was only 12 years old. It matters so much how the murderer feels, such that we must consent to his homocidal behavior without calling it such. You know, allowing murderers their behaviors because of the conflicting feelings that were present should then be recognized as being civil. I'm just being silly and juvenile, of course, but perhaps there is something to be gained from seeing the logic I employed here. It was quite illogical. Psycho-Babble should allow all members their personal feelings, but what about their behaviors?
Hmm. It must be difficult for the moderators to navigate that mess.
It's a real mess.
Dr. Bob's implementation of civility is the worst - except for all the others - just like democracy, which, I might add, Psycho-Babble is not.
So what was my point?
I forgot.
Oh yes. I was trying to defend my use of the word "juvenile" as it appears in context. I don't have so much of an emotional attachment to my use of this word as a curiosity to see how it will be judged by the moderators. I would like a bit of guidance here. A PBC should do just fine.

But I like the way your mind works!
I can only agree, this is a complex place this world...
We just try our best.

BTW.The name muffled is in reference to the fact that I was never able to speak of myself. I do so here, cuz there's relitive anonymity, and often understanding. But IRL, I must be very careful. Thats why. I also have parts that are muffled, they are not allowed to speak. I didn't know that B4 when I first picked the name, so its still appropriate. Kinda weird how it worked out to be a good name. I picked a name at another site, kindof in a hurry, and its also turned out to be a really great name.....I am a name GENIUS!!!!!
:-)
Thanks fgor giving lots to think aboout and for your nice post to me :-)

Love,
ScottIts not maturity, its more that I try to think that we ALL want to be accepted and cared for. Thats all. Noboddy perfect...least of all me. I done many things I wish I could change, but I can't, so I just try to do better to make up for my badness. And I like to learn how I can be better, so I don't mind people telling me stuff.
Thx.
