Are "I" statements no longer acceptable? (obviously not all I statments)
I couldn't find a change in the fAQ
At one time it was considered acceptable by the board guidelines to say "I'm disgusted"
But not to generalize by saying "That's disgusting" Is there something I've missed?

I-statements generally are, but as you say, not always. In this case, I thought there were other, more sensitive, ways you might have replied. For example, with what kinds of posts you wouldve liked to see.

I appreciate the response but...

You block people here based on **math equations**

Your giving advice on sensitivity is like Roman Polanski running a babysitting program.

That's not an attack on your many fine qualities, Dr Bob, but sensitivity toward indivdual babblers, has never been one of your strong points.

In this situation I would have been happy to see my post had it been written by anyone else.
I see insensitivity and disrespect obviously, in different areas than you do.

I would have liked to see what I said, had it been written by someone else.

he's something like a primus inter pares. I can image that approximations to civility with math is difficult. It is something that Blaise Pascal worked on years ago.

it's very nice to know that dr. bob is here, artistically. beautiful his pictures with these bright colors. how can he do this? The intensity of the colors reminds me of 'modern art' pictures painted by artists on an lsd trip. are you on lsd ;-) ?

aa, I just learned from another post that these are pictures from somebody else. Very beautiful these images. I was wondering if dr. bob is an artist too.
