I understand remembering someone but I didn't know the person and if those are pics of the person it seriously brings the S word to my consciousness each time I see them. So I'm not saying a thing either. Wasn't here then so can't . Not my right. Love Phillipa

Many of us who were here when Slinky posted regularly are hurting a lot at the thought of never talking with her again. Seeing her pictures is making me smile, just as Slinky so often made me smile. Even when she was hurting.
I think it's lovely that Dr. Bob is honoring Slinky this way.

I didn't know they were created by someone..I didn't know slinky. i just saw Bob and thought he came up with something new.; it is very nice that he acknowledges Slinky..

Really? I joined when cymbalta first out. Was she posting as Slinky? And What Boards if I might ask. I must have been getting used to the very use of a computer then as had never used one. I fought it tooth and nail. Oh we did have one in the hospital but it was only for inter hospital use for entering labs and tests for patients. MB thanks for letting me know maybe I should see If I can find a post she and I were on in the archieves. Love Phillipa

I felt bad cuz i didn't know that they were slinky's pics. to just look at them without knowing, they just look strange but to know that they were created by someone you cared about changes everything

Please don't feel bad. Of course you didn't know. Dr. Bob didn't put an explanation or anything.
I think Babble had a different flavor back then. Or maybe I'm just waxing nostalgic. It may have been more volatile, but also had a real playfulness to it. The pictures were part of all that, and perhaps harder to understand out of that context.
I'm not saying it was better then, or better now. Just different. I was thinking the other day that there were things I posted then that I would be uncomfortable posting now.

I had considered commenting on the unusual ever changing pictures myself. In fact, that's what let me to admin, to see if I could find out what it was all about.
