Im sorry but i carnt say sorry to people for thing,s i wrote . If true why say sorry that make,s me a liar. There is only one boss in my house an her name is ruth the wife?? Nothing has been gained by the thread about babble . Only a couple more blocks ,people told to behave as if they were childred an more babblers fleeing the forum.One poster dominates every thread with rubbish, an the newbies fall in the trap.They soon discover there mistake an leave. Nothing will change an every one will get there tread hijacked by the same person thus killing there thread dead. Well, it might *help* (not quite sure how) but it would definitely be uncivil to state a name. In fact, manic is likely already there with the rubbish remark, and and i expect he knows that from past experience.....and he knows, too, what he can/cannot do now. We all make choices.

I hope he does not. Manic is a smart cookie (we *old* people kinda know a couple of things....sometimes) makes people laugh, and is good for this place.

What does that mean on Admin? An admin chose to block for 11 weeks? This one is just plain weird.
Was it the use of the word "asylum" that someone took a wee bit too personally?
I don't get it, I would like a full explanation for the 11 week block. It's almost laughable.

Manic was banned for 11 weeks for saying that one person dominates every thread with rubbish. This was, I presume, in response to Lou P's cut & paste, non-responsive, anti-community posts. In this most recent case, I posted a question about Cymbalta & almost immediately Lou started another thread with "Cymbalta" in the title, but that pointed to a video about the dangers of Seroquel. (In other words, "rubbish.") That struck me as abusive, but I let it slide because, well, it was Lou. My original post got two responses while Lou's got, I dunno, fifty or something. Lou has a right to his views, as I have said many times, but that shouldn't mean that others have to accept what are in effect lies about psych drugs from him. So we're stuck in a situation where Lou can post rubbish and be completely non-responsive without any administrative sanction, but Manic can get an 11 week block for saying something is rubbish -- not the person, mind you, but the information.
So I'll be clearing out of Kafka's kindergarten.

Please don't post anything that could lead others to feel accused or put down.
But please don't take this personally, either, this doesn't mean I don't like you or think you're a bad person, and I'm sorry if this hurts you.

I wish you could've continued to let it slide. No one has to accept what anyone else says. Don't necessarily believe everything you hear. If you disagree with someone else's point of view, you're free to post your own. Different points of view are fine, and in fact encouraged.
I do hope that you choose to remain a member of this community and that members of this community help you, if needed, to avoid future blocks.
It's up to you to decide whom you interact with. Sometimes interacting with others may be frustrating, staying civil may be a challenge, and new skills may help. If you're open to developing new skills (which I realize may not be why you came in the first place), that's another way in which you may be supported by other posters.

Manic has emailed me to say he is worried that Lou might feel he was talking about him. Manic says that he wants Lou to know that he wasn't talking about it, and that he didn't want to hurt Lou's feelings.
