I have been sufferring from GAD and chronic for almost 20 years now. Currently I am on Paxil, Clonazapam, Sodium Valproate. Recently I have also added 30mg of Ritalin because without it I just wouldn't be able to come out of the bed.
Anyway I feel as if I have grounded to a halt now, total apathy, no empathy, no libido, absolute zero. I manage to have sex with my girl friend once in a while using Viagra and all sort of other things. But I never come and I don't enjoy it either, it is just for her.
At her insistance, I recently started seeing an accupuncture practitioner (AP). He thinks that I have too much heat in my liver which I think it has more to do with my medication than anything else. I know that I have a long history of Kidney deficiency and I have done some research which has confirmed my idea that the problem is in the Kidney. But AP says that he must first get rid of the heat in the liver before he can treat the kidneys otherwise the liver heat will just soak up the kidney's ying.
