Hi,
Not from fish oil yet but i don't get muscle achiness from ingesting anything that I'm allergic to so that might be a posibility. I get a lot of achiness from caffeinne because I'm so allergic to it but am so low on energy it's hard to get by without it. Ibruprofin seems to help. Sorry I can't be more help. Good luck. Jeff

~~~Hi Jeff,
Thanks for your post. Caffiene is an idea for a possible culprit. I'm just trying to sort out a possible cause. The only listings I can find for FO SE's does not include anything related to muscle discomfort, but I've been known to have untoward effects to stuff NO ONE else experiences. I've used FO or Salmon Oil for a while (off and on) and this finding of muscle achiness has come up from time to time - along with some skin breakout issues. I've never equated the FO use to the muscle pain, but I guess a trial of going without might help to pinpoint.
Thanks Again,
Glydin
Hi Glydin, I meant to say-- Not from fish oil yet but i "do" get muscle achiness from ingesting anything that I'm allergic to so that might be a posibility.
Please let us know how you progress and what you find out. muscle achiness is not fun.
I followed your discussion of this, and I have not heard of it before. Could just be one of those coincidences. I'll try and see if I can find anything helpful.
Thanks Larry. Such a vague symptom, with any number of causes, but there's something telling me there might be a connection. At any rate, I'm D/C ing for a while and see how it goes.
I can't find any link of any sort. In fact, fish oil ought to help with myalgia, as it would inhibit PGE2 (inflammatory prostaglandin) release.
I guess you're just weir....errr....special. Ya, special. ;-)
