I've been trying wilsons thyroid syndrome treatment on and off for about a year with mixed results. it involves taking sustained release t3 in 7.5mcg doses in the hope of raising (and maintaining) a temperature of 98.6.
When i get my temp up to mid 98's it completely ends my depression and my mood and energy are great. trouble is, i can never hold these temps. it's very frustrating. anyone have luck with this?

I do take thyroid med but haven't tried sustained release t3. I found your post interesting, however, because my normal temperature is about 97.8. I've always found it curious, but I never associated it with depression - or with low thyroid for that matter. Doctors have always dismissed it as insignificant, and I accepted their opinion. I think I'll have to investigate this. Thanks for the post.
