Glyconutrients?? mannatech?

Posted by Spriggy on April 18, 2005, at 12:11:32

I posted this on health and then thought maybe this would be a more appropriate place.

Does anyone know if there is any stock in these products?

My husband bought $100 worth for me from a church member who is a real believer it will help cure all my ails'.

My husband is very hopeful- I have no idea.

Anyone have experience of knowledge of this stuff?

I've take some of the Mannatech products. I had a bout with cervical cancer and my mom was convinced that these products would help me overcome the exhaustion caused by radiation. I still take the Plus, Glyconutrients and the Ambrotose. Do they help? They help as much as any regularly taken vitamin has for me. Have they cured my ADHD? No. Have they cured my depression? No. Have they cured my allergies? No. That's about the extent of my health problems.

I think that they are wonderful vitamins, but can you get a comparable product for a lot less at a health store? Yes. I still take them because I bought in cases when first began taking them and most likely won't continue when I'm through because of the cost.

I've taken Ambrotose and AmbrotoseAO (I think it is) for a year or so. I havn't a clue if they work. They are expensive and I don't like their marketing or their organization.

I don't want to reinvent the wheel, here. This doctor has it covered:

If this stuff helps, IMHO, your diet sucked to begin with.
