Hi,
Lar was blocked quite a while ago. He might not want to return to babble after this :-(
Kind regards

I had a mind slip. What I meant to say was, has the block been lifted?

No :-( It's very sad. IMHO, he should never have been blocked in the first place.
Kind regards

Not that I'm aware of and it would surprise me if Dr. Bob would.
I can only recall once in the time I've been here that a ban was lifted early.
There are many pleads on Adm. for lifting Lar's block, but they have gone on without action.

Thanks Ed, Glydin, RP for your replies.
Jay, maybe not a bad ideal. I do think that Dr. Bob has gotten something going good here in that this board attracts a lot of really smart, compassionate people. Sometimes I fear though that the rules are unnecessarily overbearing, and that some of these valued members may leave.
best regards ~Jake

Yes --- unfortunately, good folks do leave and have left over Adm. decisions and non-decisions.
I think there can be a tendency - when a person is so noted for being a resource - to lose sight that maybe they like and need to be here as much as they are liked and needed.
Some have managed to weather thru some controversal calls and returned. There has been a few involving Larry, so, I guess, time will tell.
Best to you,
Glydin
