Does anyone know much about inisotol and if it could increase anxiety?

I really miss Larry Hoover.

I'm not BP but I do have an anxiety disorder in addition to unipolar depression and it increased my anxiety to the point of the return of panic attacks. Yet another dropped addition for me.

I think Linkadge is right in that it can cause anxiety in some cases, especially bi-polar. There also is data showing it useful for panic attacks and depression. I found that it helps insomnia, for a while at least. Perhaps the efficacy of inositol for anxiety depends on your level (or not) of deficiency of inositol or other cofactors.

I found that it got rid of certain anxiety, like pysical anxiety, bu that is seemed to make worse the mental anxiety esp fear.

Mind you effexor did the same for me. It is used for anxiety, but there was never a more anxiogeinc substance than effexor for me.

It seemed to alieviate my anxiety somewhat for a couple of months and then severe anxiety set in (far worse than before I started taking the Inositol).

Yes. I found that it did increase anxiety at start but then a really strange an "otherworldly" anxiety began to appear.

I started to be worried about things that I normally woudn't worry about. It almost seemed to shift my anxiety.
