Hi,
I've tried a few supplements and there all very activating:folic acid
vit c
magnesiumis there anything anyone can recommend that could potentially be calming??

Definitely try the taurine. Or, L-Theanine might work well.

I don't know if it would be immediately calming, but in the long-term, inositol might have a stabilizing effect.

My sister, who is not depressive at all finds magnesium of all sorts to be stimulating, even magnesium glycinate. Epsom salt baths keep her awake at night. But calcium is calming for her. Perhaps it would be for you too. Or maybe some ratio of the two.
Niacinamide may also be calming.

Yes, calcium and magnesium are very calming. You can get them in the same supplement as they need each other to synthesize I think. Also Taurine is good. I take 1000mg mid-afternoon when I start running out of gas. Another favorite of mine is DLPA. Hope that helps.
I don't have any CaMg or DLPA now but I have been meaning to get some.
