Let me first say that I am on some heavy-hitting medicine in addition to my vitamins. That being said, I may need less of the vitamins than others who aren't taking medication. Probably that's the truth. Over the past 2 and 1/2 years, I've discovered that dosage is very important when it comes to supplementing with vitamins. Sometimes you have to experiment for weeks or months before you discover the dosage that gives you the least side effects, but that also addresses your symptoms at the same time. My own regimen has changed so many times I've lost count. I'm finally discovering appropriate dosages of each vitamin I take. It really can be frustrating in the beginning. This is what I've come up with. These dosages may be very modest.
Vitamin B6 (regular pyridoxine hydrochloride): 25-50mg per day
Pyridoxal-5-Phosphate: 75mg per day
Vitamin C: 500mg per day
Vitamin E (Natural not dl- form): 200IU in the morning and 400IU at bedtime
Benfotiamine (a form of B1): 150mg per day
Zinc picolinate: At least 30 mg per day. Some sources recommend 50mg per day.
Magnesium: 100mg per day. This is very modest.
Niacin (sustained-release): 750mg during the day and at bedtime. It may take you a little while to adjust to a high dosage of this one, so start off slow in the beginning.
Vitamin B12: 500-750mcg per day only if you respond well to it and you're deficient in this one.
Fish oil: 2-3 grams per day. Eskimo-3 brand is great!!
Borage oil: 1,300mg per dayThis is my current regimen minus the vitamin B12. I have to take all of these religiously everyday to feel okay. I have schizophrenia so I am very sensitive to vitamins and I don't need megadoses of them like some people do. You also may not need megadoses either, depending on your biology and whether or not you take medication as well. Have a good day!!!

I'm intrigued by your name (Taoist?), and impressed your posts. They're very informative.
