hi bleau. i'm new to this site but have read several of your posts. it appears you have had some success treating yourself for candidiasis. am i correct? if so, i would like to speak with you about it. we can do so via this board or via email, whichever you prefer. i'll provide my email address next message if that's something you're comfortable with.
as background, i have been experimenting with some coffee/garlic enemas for the past four days (along with other aspects of the gerson therapy, magnesium, and inositol) in addition to the drug medicines i have been prescribed and have been feeling rather well.

I don't know about the enemas. Never done them and not sure I could.
But garlic, I'm a huge fan. It has to be the smelly kind. That's where the potency is. Odorless is not much good for infection. The internet claims by those selling supposedly powerful odorless versions do not hold up in my own tests or in books by doctors who know this stuff. The very best I've ever had is called Allicin Caps made by Dr Zhang (male, chinese Lyme doctor in New York). I think one thing often overlooked about garlic, besides its potent antifungal and antibacterial properties, is its sulfur content. Some of us just need more sulfur to feel good. Don't know why. My hunch is it has something to do with liver function in cleaning out junk.
I don't know what meds you were prescribed. I found Nystatin fairly useless. Very effective in the gut for sure, but doesn't do anything systemically.
Diflucan, different story. It's an atomic bomb on candida and penetrates cells and brain effectively to get it where ever it lives. The most potent herbs I've tried were Pau D'Arco tea and Oil of Oregano. They likely are heavy duty antibacterial agents as well, and I had some viscious Herx reactions on them. Some people claim Olive Leaf to be a miracle, but it was not helpful to me.
Of the zillions of meds, herbs, and supplements I've tried, garlic is one of the top three ever.

enemas are an adventure. considering how lousy i felt a mere five days ago, however, they may be valuable. of course, it could have been the less recent switch from 20mg abilify to 5mg saphris. let's hope it's both; saphris is expensive.
have been drinking homemade garlic tea (raw garlic wrapped up in a coffee filter and steeped) and brewing it in with the enema coffee. have read, however, that it is most potent when uncooked, perhaps even inactivated by cooking. sounds like that squares with your experience. will have to do some sublingual garlic. wish me luck.
haven't been prescribed antifungals; am relying solely on the garlic at this point. for extra sulfur i take a gram of msm per day.
reading your vibrant posts, it seems as if you are doing quite well yourself.

It is sold on the internet from his office and one other distributor, forgot the name. Awesome stuff. Everything else I tried was worthless, except for raw garlic cloves. But to get the same therapeutic value of a capsule of Dr Zhang's Allicin, you would have to chew like 5 to 10 cloves.
As a sidenote, yeah, garlic is easily deactivated. The proper way to take it as raw food is to chew and swallow fresh, uncooked, at the end of a meal. Not at the beginning of a meal and not on an empty stomach. The gives it the maximum activated power. Taking it too early in a meal can deactivate some of it.

DMSA rounds feel good. The time off from them feels bad. Diflucan feels good when I start, gets real bad when I keep on it. Garlic feels good the whole time, but I eventually have to back off as my pores get so saturated I just wreak of odor. Most of this is healing going on...Herx reactions...metals being mobilized...but doesn't feel good. Some days are almost impossible. I am of the Christian faith and I can honestly say that without the supernatural strength and endurance God touches me with, there are days I would not be able to get out the door.
>If posts sounded vibrant, you can bet I was on a round of DMSA or just starting Diflucan again.
This is the end of the thread.
